Some of you may have seen from my Instagram page last month that I was in Coachella Valley, California visiting Nature’s Anthem date farm where I was able to learn more about these tasty, delicious all natural sweet treats. It was a beautiful drive to reach the orchards and meet the owner who so generously showed me around and introduced me to the caretakers of the land who have so much knowledge of every inch of the place and how the propagate and care for the trees so that they produce the best fruit possible.

A Little Background on Nature’s Anthem and Its Female Founder, Alya Haq
Nature’s Anthem started with a dream to deliver the freshest and most delicious dates in the world. Our farms are located in the stunning Coachella Valley, just a few miles from the Coachella Valley music festival, golf and tennis activities and beautiful resorts. Surrounded by the Santa Rosa and San Jacinto mountains, our farms are perfectly located to soak up the desert sun allowing us to grow the most delicious dates. We are a small farm but big in our ideas and in our passion for date farming.
Nature’s Anthem’s founder, Alya Haq is a lawyer turned date farmer! Alya grew up eating dates from all around the world. But it was on a trip to the Coachella valley with her husband and kids that she realized the best dates in the world were grown so close to home. And so she began her journey into the world of date farming. Making the 143 mile trip (one way) from Pasadena to Thermal a few times a week for over a year and a half, she explored, learnt and studied. After many hours driving (and miles on her car!) she started Nature’s Anthem.
